Summer Seaside Stays !

Our Magpie Nest is set in quaint Bridlington Old Town. A superior self-catering period property, accommodation ideally located to explore the entire Yorkshire Coast.
For top class self-catering rental in Bridlington on the seaside, this unique holiday home could be just what guests are looking for. An outstanding two-bedroom exclusive let and one of the very best in town, uniquely created from the old Magpies Nest Antique Shop and perfect to be occupied by four people, being able to also sleep five or six by arrangement (sofa-bed). Can be booked by one, two or three to stay of course too! It is situated in the historic old quarters of Bridlington: The Bridlington Old Town, very near Priory Church and where traditional Georgian period shops still stand and serve customers today. This is a mid 1800's property arranged over three floors and furnished to the highest quality: guests lounge and bedrooms have TV with Freeview and there are 2 x DVD / CD players, plus free wireless broadband throughout. The accommodation also has a separate dining room to seat six and new luxury fitted kitchen with integrated five ring burner, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. guests own separate downstairs cloakroom and utility area with washing machine is included, this being situated on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen and dining room, with lounge and en-suite double bedroom on the first floor and the twin en-suite bedroom on the second floor. Nothing is shared as you will have exclusive use of the entire property. This accommodation also benefits from full central heating and the enclosed south facing private walled courtyard garden, with raised patio section, is a feature for your personal enjoyment. That area has a dedicated smokers zone, as the interior of the property is completely no smoking.

Magpie Nest is located handy for the main Scarborough Road, therefore if you are also considering a visit to the neighboring resort, or indeed to Filey, Robin Hoods Bay or Whitby during the stay, then its position could not be more suited. Travelling by trainM - This accommodation is situated quite close to the railway station too! Nearby, between Bridlington North and Bridlington South beaches, the historic harbour is a hive of activity, with fishing boats bringing in the days catch, pleasure cruises along the heritage coast, speedboat rides across the bay and North Sea fishing expeditions all on offer. For traditional entertainment there is the sea-front funfair and donkey rides on the sands, plus many family attractions including the much improved Promenades Shopping Centre. The re-furbished Bridlington Spa is now also open for business again and offers a packed program of varied events all year round. Outside The Spa, the gardens renovations too are now complete and offer a new contemporary space to sit and unwind, with the benefit of stunning sea views. On the edge of town is Sewerby Hall and Gardens, where pitch and putt, a bowling green, adventure playground, craft workshops, a small zoo, plus the Clock Tower Tea Rooms, ensure that there is plenty to keep all the family happily entertained. No stay on this part of the coast is complete without a trip to the stunning Flamborough Head and to Flamborough North Landing (where probably the best whippy ice cream cornets in East Yorkshire are sold!). Plus don't forget to visit Thornwick Bay and also the RSPB at Bempton Cliffs. Available to all those staying are leaflets and brochures within the property for all nearby attractions and these are updated regular.

The Double Bedroom is en-suite (complete with bath) and situated on the first floor of the house at the back of the property. This room is light, airy and accessorised with colours to create a mood of relaxation and luxury to make your stay perfect, particularly after a hard day's sightseeing and travelling around our wonderful Yorkshire Coast, or enjoying one of the popular events held here in the town of Bridlington. The Twin Bedroom is situated on the top floor of this holiday let and covers the full length of the property with views of the old Priory Church.
